Youth Camp Rules & Regulations
In order to conduct a well-ordered and spiritual Youth Camp for young people, it is necessary to require each camper along with their parents, to agree to the following regulations. We expect and require all campers, staff, counselors, etc. to abide by these rules.
1. The Youth Camp Application must be filled out completely and the Medical Release signed by parent or guardian. YOU CANNOT ENTER CAMP WITHOUT IT BEING SIGNED.
2. The Camp Board reserves the right to decline any application submitted by a prospective camper.
3. All campers should be encouraged to pre-register; however dorm assignments will be made on a first come, first serve basis.
4. The girls’ dormitory is off limits to all male campers, and the boys’ dormitory is off limits to all female campers. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
5. Each camper is required to attend all classes and services unless sickness is reported and permission is given by their counselor.
6. Any sickness should be reported immediately to your counselor. In case of serious illness or accident, the parents of the camper will be notified immediately.
7. Any camper refusing to abide by the camp rules will have their Pastor and their parents notified, and the camper will be subject to being sent home at the parent’s expense.
8. A. Dress code for young ladies: Dresses – must be a modest length & no sleeveless dresses.
Shorts must be mid-thigh in length and must be loose fitting. Capris are allowed if they are loose
fitting. Jeans & slacks are also permitted but should be loose fitting.
B. Dress code for young men: Jeans & shorts are permitted. Shorts must be mid-thigh in
length and must be loose fitting. Shirts must be buttoned. Boys’ hair shall be neatly
trimmed and well groomed.
C. Attention: Please bring some clothes that are “play clothes” that you can play activities in and not
worry about them getting wet or grass stained.
D. General Guidelines: Clothing that reflects an unchristian attitude will not be allowed. We
would prefer our campers to wear nice clothes to the evening services. This includes skirts
or nice slacks for the girls and jeans or slacks for the boys. No sleeveless shirts in evening service. No
shorts should be worn in the evening service. We suggest all campers to leave jewelry at home. No
inappropriate holes in clothes.
9. All campers are required to refrain from display of carnal affection between campers while at camp (holding hands & kissing).
10. All campers are to stay within designated areas at all times.
11. Campers are not allowed to leave the campground unless special permission is given by the Camp Director.
12. Any camper’s car brought to the camp must remain parked in the designated area until camp is over. Positively, no going to town and back without permission.
13. Each camper is responsible for keeping his/her bunk clean. All rooms MUST BE CLEAN before campers leave at the end of camp.
14. Only those working in the kitchen are allowed behind the counter.
15. Damage to camp property must be paid for by the camper responsible.
16. All campers are subject to the Camp Director & Counselors while at camp and while riding on the bus to and from camp.
17. Official opening time for camp is 2:00pm on Sunday and closing time is 11:00am on Friday. Any camper arriving before this official time will be responsible for his/her medical expense in case of sickness or accident.
18. There will be NO alcohol, tobacco, or any controlled substance used on the campgrounds.
19. Any unregistered person on the campground during the daytime will be asked to sign-in. Only registered campers are allowed to participate in the daily activities. Visitors on the campground are welcomed at the evening services; however we would ask that all visitors leave after the fellowship after the evening service. Any unregistered visitors should make a $5.00 donation if staying for any meals.
20. There will be no fireworks. Any fireworks found, will be confiscated and will not be returned.
21. Any and all medication (excluding inhalers for asthma) must be reported to the camp nurse upon admission to camp.
22. There is NO SWIMMING in the lake or streams on the camp property.
23. All conditions that may arise, that are not covered by the Youth Camp Rules, shall be judged at the discretion of the Youth Camp Director and those youth camp committee members present at camp.
24. Camp cost is $85.00 to be pre-paid by each camper or paid at registration.
25. Please refer to supply list when packing for camp.

Modest shorts will be accepted (Modest is defined by being mid-thigh in length)

Jeans & slacks (skirts are acceptable as well for girls, but not required) for the evening services

Bring a few nicer shirts and/or blouses for evening services

Be sure to bring “play” clothes for our activities. (Please send some clothes that can be worn when we have our water activities.) The key word is “older clothes”.

If you have a questions please ask. Anyone dressed immodestly will be asked to change clothes.

Medications that are necessary (for example: asthma) with written note describing medication and dosage from your parent

Sleeping bag and/or bedding & pillow for a twin mattress.

A desire to learn and draw closer to God

Cell phones (emergency use) See Camp Director for other times cell phone can be used.
Contraband items that are to be left at home:

Tobacco / Drugs / Alcohol

Magazines that are not pleasing to God (meaning if it is not Christian don’t bring it)

Music that is not pleasing to God (meaning if it is not Christian don’t bring it)

Knives or anything that would be considered a weapon (this includes firecrackers)

Note: These items will be collected if found and returned to you at end of camp
